An Act of Love

I will never get this one right.  There are no words to properly describe…..

An Act of Love

1.

Sweetly I kissed her,

And gently touched.

So warmly she held me,

And so fully I her.

And trusting

She closed her eyes

And in all the moments

Of enumerable millennia

That passed in those eons of times

That were the beginning

Of the end of forever

The eternity of existence

We loved and passed into the being of God and Cosmos

And two were one

And life was death

And now was forever

And as eternity vanished away

In the conception of time

And self with the beginning of oneness

I lived

And existence began

2.

We kissed

And gently touched

And trusting, she closed her eyes

And for all the moments that passed in those enumerable eons of time

That were the beginning

The end of forever

The eternity of existence

We were one

And self vanished with the beginning of oneness

And passed into the being of the CosmosÖof God

Life was death

Now was forever

We loved

And as eternity vanished away in the conception of time

3.

We kissed

And gently touched

And for all the moments

That passed in those innumerable eons of time

The beginning and end of forever

The eternity of existence

We were one

Self vanished with the beginning of oneness

And passed into the being of the cosmos . . . of God

Life was death

Now was forever

We loved

And as eternity vanished away in the conception of time

And existence began

We lived
