I’m really loving my new MAC!  After having used Windows for so many years and dealt with the frustration of the speed (or lack of speed!!) of doing anything on a PC the speed, simplicity, and stability of MAC is like a breath of fresh air.  However, I have had to give up some of my favorite software including my favorite editor (1st page by Evrsoft.)  BUT… I have now found ShutterBug by Xtralean and with a minor adjustment to my way of approaching things I’m beginning to find it ALMOST as good as 1st Page.  The major difference is that with 1st Page I had unfettered access to the code from inside the package.  That access is not there with ShutterBug but I’m finding ways to do what I want with out it.Anyway, I’m having fun playing around with it and about 5 other apps and who knows, I may even start adding to this Blog on a regular basis. One of the appeals of ShutterBug is that it’s design has everything needed to do really good galleries.  As I’ve said elsewhere on one of these sites I’m very disappointed with Gallery’s speed and the cUnVegas.com website has been languishing from lack of attention while I pondered what to do about it.  I’ve been experimenting with several PHP alternatives but haven’t been really excited by any of them.Now that I’m getting the hang of how to work with ShutterBug I’m ready to get to work on that.Back to work now.
